An email from a FODO member after our recent production of The Vampire in St Ives:

"Just my chance to say how wonderful The Vampire was! Saturday was an EVENT. The train in was good even if they went without us........the stories went well, food good but the OPERA was fantastic.The music was interesting and beautifully played, the singing superb, a most enjoyable production - THANK YOU to all. "

In common with many regional arts groups, Duchy Opera receive no official funding to help offset the cost of their productions, and we rely on a mixture of our own fund-raising efforts together with the very generous support of the Friends Of Duchy Opera, or F.O.D.O. members.

Their contribution to our work has ensured that we are able to continue in what is an increasingly costly and challenging field of activity.

F.O.D.O. members receive regular newsletters and advance information on productions and concerts, as well as special invitations to Country House concerts in stunning locations across Cornwall and complimentary programmes at our main production performances.

F.O.D.O. also run a popular 200 club which members are invited to join.
