Next performances for La Traviata
|
La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi
La traviata is inspired by the life and death of the real-life Parisian courtesan Marie Duplessis, about whom Alexandre Dumas wrote a novel and play: La Dame aux camélias. Verdi offers a sympathetic portrayal of the heroine, highlighting Violetta's noble nature and her devotion to Alfredo. It is currently the most performed opera in the world, and the role of Violetta, a favourite for many star sopranos. Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th July 2025 - Opera and Picnic. Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July 2025 - Gala night performances. (please note that Weds and Sat tickets are already SOLD OUT) Here is the link: https://www.parkhouseopera.com/booknow |
