Park House, Truro (open air) performances                Tues 9th, Wed 10th, Fri 12th and Sat 13th July

Our opera will be a traditional production directed by Gillian Geer and Music Director, Patrick Bailey.

2. If you wish to audition

Auditions were held at Tresillian, near Truro on Saturday, 25th November and Sunday 26th November 2023.

Please be aware that some of the smaller roles* will be auditioned at a later date, when main rehearsals commence in January.  If you wish to be considered for these please complete the Application Form.

Our auditioning panel of three will include Patrick Bailey and Gillian Geer.

Open to all but, where possible, priority will be given to Cornwall-based performers.

Rehearsals will largely be held at Tresillian Village Hall along with main Chorus rehearsals on Sunday evenings 6.00-8.00pm.

Soloists successful in securing a role will be expected to attend regular Sunday evening rehearsals.
If not cast as a soloist we would welcome applicants to join the company.

All candidates who audition in November will be notified of the results within two weeks of 26th November.

Please return your completed “Application form for Die Fledermaus soloist auditions” via the [email protected] email, ensuring it is in a format which most people can read (docx or pdf).
Please indicate on your application which role/s you wish to audition for and the relevant pages from the score and libretto will be sent to you.
Requests for audition will not be processed without the return of a completed Application Form; without which we will be unable to give you a day and time slot.
